Members’ online booking
Court booking is FREE for members.

You will need to have completed your online member registration to become a member, and then simply click on the Book Tennis Court icon below

You’ll receive confirmation of your booking, and can easily check your bookings, along with the gate key code to access the courts.  This code will change regularly so booking is essential.

Priority is given to regular coaching and club sessions but these are clearly indicated on the system.

Pay and Play
Members can book the courts online for free, however if you are a non-member you can pay £6 per court for each hour. Regular users may want to check out our low membership fees and get unlimited use of the courts for free.

To pay and play click on the Book Tennis icon below. You can securely pay the fee online using a debit or credit card via PayPal.

Access to the courts is via a gate code which is given on the booking confirmation and again with the booking reminder 12 hours prior.

Please take a moment to read through our court booking rules and etiquette policies. These have been designed to ensure there is fair and responsible use of the courts for all.

Adult social tennis
There are three weekly adult social tennis sessions for members at the club on:

Mondays 11am to 1pm
Thursdays 6 to 8pm
Saturdays 4 to 6pm

If you aren’t a member but would like to come along for a session or two please ring Jack Lusher on 07946 795 277, or email him on Tennis@staplehurstcricket.com

 Sessions are completely informal, just meet up and play.  No coaching, no fee. Teamer app invites will be sent out to members. You don’t have to accept these invites to attend but we recommend you respond so others know how many people are attending, and so the tennis committee have an idea of the interest in each session. There’s no need to decline these invites and if you’d like to be taken off the social invites list, please email tennis@staplehurstcricket.com.

Matches sometimes have to take priority over social sessions, but on these occasions, Teamer app invites will not be sent out and the booking system will show a league fixture rather than a club social night. We will do our best to arrange matches so no more than one session is affected in a week, but where this isn’t possible alternative court time may be offered.   

Tennis ladder
We have a growing members tennis ladder! We play mixed and unmixed doubles – in a fun and at a not-too-competitive level.  This is a great way to find your level and meet other equally matched players.  The ladder remains open to further entries here and you can find more details on the Team App. You can sign up to the Team App here.

Coaching

Floodlights
Floodlight tokens can be purchased from the club bar or from Jack Lusher, Tim Bennett or Adam Hughes. They are £1.50 for 45 minutes play.

The use of floodlight keys is limited to coaching, matches or social tennis only, and any keys help by members other than committee members or team captains should be returned to the club. 

Accident book
If required, the accident book is located in the club kitchen, in the white tray above the microwave.
