We are playing host to the Staplehurst Men’s Shed project’s pub games marathon, raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK. The marathon began at 9.00 am this morning and will end at 9.00pm this evening.
Why not come along this evening – the bar will be open from 6.00pm – to support their efforts. It’s a cause that should be close to every man’s….er….heart.

Then why not book them on one of the County umpiring courses at a number of local venues over the coming months. A level one course enables the candidate to umpire recreational matches. The follow-on level two course equips them to umpire league matches. Both one-day weekend and three-evening weekday courses are available.
No experience necessary although a rudimentary knowledge of the game (if not the laws) is helpful.
